team1 world cup is a free-for-fun bracket game. No money changes hands, and we keep the data we store to the minimum needed to run it.

What we store

• Your email address — used as your account identity and to send the one-tap sign-in link.
• A display name — what shows up on the public leaderboard.
• Your bracket predictions — so we can score them and show your rank.
• A session cookie (wc_session) — keeps you signed in for 30 days. No third-party trackers, no analytics cookies.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except the infrastructure providers that run the app: Vercel (hosting + Postgres) and, if magic-link email is enabled, Resend (email delivery). We do not sell, rent, or share your data.

Deleting your data

Email a team1 organiser and we'll remove your account, predictions and any leaderboard entries on request.
